Hey fellow slednecks.

I'm Shawn, located in Hope, BC
Never been into sleds but have done a lot of back country camping over the yrs in the winter time.

Been riding sportbikes for 7 yrs and got myself a pair of hayabusa's last yr. One running and a parts bike.

So with all these snowbikes around I figured I'd slap a track assembly from a sled onto the hayabusa and see what comes of it.

So I bought a dead 95 Arctic cat powder 580... But it only needs a top end rebuild so I figured I'll just fix it and then have a cheap sled. It came with a spare suspension and new seat.

Then came a phone call for a 99 Polaris 800 without a motor for a case of beer.

Here's the pic of the start of the chopping process...

Welcome to Snowest Shawn.
Keep us posted on your build.
I have a 1200 Suzuki Bandit that would make a fun snow bike I’m sure.
I have seen a couple of video’s in the past of street bikes converted and they sure look like fun.
Go big or go home eh!
Cheers
