I know it's likely been posted in the past, but must have been archived, so I'm starting a new thread.

Anyone know what boost PSI the Stage II CPC wastegate actuator is set at? I'm running the PG one now, and want to run higher boost this year with race gas.

Also, should I run straight C12, or mix with premium or 100LL AV gas?

We ride 2500 - 9500 feet. Usually 6500 up is where we're doing most of the big pulls, running high boost. Anyone have some fuel box settings to start with at these elevations?

TIA

I've talked to him. He makes 3 different actuators, didn't know which one I have and didn't know what fuel I should run either since he couldn't tell me how much boost this actuator will make. I'm pretty sure I've got the 8PSI one. Guy I got it from said it's for race gas, and since it's a stage 2 kit, I'm thinking it's the medium boost one.
Guess I'll run race gas, or 50/50 C12/AV and just tune it with my AFR/EGT
Would still like to know what's working for others with this kit so I have a starting point

bender 151 What elevations are you running?
Talked to a shop in my area, they say I need an intercooler and C12 for 12 psi, I'll stay with AV I think, can't afford C12 at $150 for 20L!!!
That'd be $300 per tank, who can afford that? bloody crazy!
I'm thinking 100% AV and 10PSI at 5K feet and up
That sound safe?

I'm running dales stage 2 kit on my 2011 m8.I run 80%av gas 20% 91 at 8 lbs boost still runmindful a bit richigher on Avr
gauge but I'm good with it

Do you know what your fuel box settings are? I've been adjusting mine, still sputtering on the top end though, seems rich, but AFR numbers are pretty close

Cutler turbo

I have a 2011 m8 with cutler stage 2 turbo kit. I have 09 head and can run 8lbs boost on 94 octane pump fuel. Been riding this setup for the last 3 years with no issues. Ride 4-7000'

Yep 09 head is the way to go And im running + 3 on my timing but i run some race as well @10psi Thats on my 09 with my own kit But i just picked up a 2010 with the stage two kit and were changing the clutching and some other things that i believe will be a big improvement and take some of the parts out of there
