Default Soloshot2

Anyone have any experience with using the soloshot in the mountains while riding? Seems pretty enticing but the reviews aren't the best and I am not the most techy person. Would be pretty sweet to get in a honey hole and just take turns with the arm band with others in your group.

been looking at it as well. Looks reasonably and a fairly smooth transition. I am trying to figure out what the main differences are in the base from the soloshot2 to the upcoming soloshot3. I have a DSLR i would mount to it.

Default Soloshot2

Don't waste your money they are not sledder friendly
2 buddies returned them through Amazon after not working on multiple dirt bike woods trips. They are great if transporting in a car to then be set up on a beach or field
Not designed or made to be in a backpack bouncing up and down even in a foam container or on a tunnel...one tip over in the snow? GOODBYE $$

that's good to know. Wonder if they improved it in the latest version...
