What is the reason for the adjustment for the ski loop?
Only snowmobile ski company that has it.

The adjustment for the ski loops allows the user to change the angle of the tip depending on what style of riding they are doing. The middle hole (factory) is for the heavy and more dense snow. The back hole raises the tip about 2" for the light and fluffy snow. There are other applications like grass drags where the front hole works well, but for the mountains you will almost always utilize either back or middle hole locations.
