7x14’ Open trailer Fit 2 Sleds?

I’m looking to only get one trailer I can use for my side by side (18’ Kawasaki Teryx) and two snowmobiles. Snowmobiles haven’t been bought yet but they will most likely be from the 2008-2014 era. 146-163 track size

Would I be able to fit two snowmobiles in a non enclosed, non V, 7x14 trailer? I assume I would have to park one in forward, one in reverse. Anyone have pictures?

Thanks

They will fit. You may even be able to have both face the same direction. If one hangs off the back a little, no big deal.

I have a 7x14 square enclosed trailer. If both sleds have 36" ski stance they will sit side by side facing forward. One with 38" and one with 36" will fit with the inside skis overlapping. putting them in one forward and one back they fit with lots of room between them and still close the door without a problem.

Would older, wider (2005’+) sled fit one forward, one backwards? I’m considering buying the trailer before I buy the snowmobiles and want to be prepared for anything I get (05’-14’)

Yep. I've had two 2010/2011 M8s in there (40" stance) and still not even close to having a problem with one forward one backward. They were both 153s. My 162 proclimb with 38" front and 162 M7 with 41" front fit as well. If you plan to put one backward on an open trailer I recommend pulling the windshield off of it (if it has one), or put a cover on it.

Good idea on the windshield! I didn’t even think about that. I’ll probably opt for a cover

Update Question

Does anyone know how long of a trailer is needed for a 7’ wide trailer so I can fit the snowmobiles facing the same direction but stagger them (trailer is not wide enough to have them directly next to each other

Bump, is there anyway to fit two 41” sleds staggered but both facing forward on a 7x14 open trailer with gold down rear gate. One sled would be approx 11’ long and the other would be an early 2000s that’s closer to 10’ long
