I don't know what it is but I have a soft spot for the modded m-series, it really was one of the greatest sleds ever made. Don't get me wrong I love my new iron, but for some reason I can't get rid of my big HP toys.

I know there are quite a few great m-series still out there, the one winters built, the few Whittaker build, Brad story's mods and the list goes on. Here is my two, let's see what is still out there!IMG_1456.jpgIMG_1457.jpg

Not too much of a mod, more mod-stock. Original owner 2005 M7, 3500 miles. Peak Head, D&D full single exhaust, reduced fuel pressure, adjusted oil pump, RKTech torsional secondary with 10.4 sheaves, side panel vents, Boss seat, 2009 tunnel update, 2008 float skid, stretched from 153 to 162 with CE extreme 2.5" track, re-valved shocks, and powder pro skis. Fun little backup sled. looks a little meaner with it's black headlight covers in place.

M series wayback

I love the old M series, still have one.Don't ride it but just part of the family.

Lots of mods listed, the most critical mod is: GEARING...... all the M sleds were WAY WAY WAY HIGH GEARED, bad deal, many were ditched and bad mouthed, I bought a lot of M7/'s and M1000 for cheap at my shop because the non listening owners were sick of belt burning sluggish performance. When I suggested we gear their sleds down, they always stated: I WANT TO GO FASTER NOT SLOWER". you can't teach a pig to sing.

a properly geared M6 is a formidable sled, an m7 can be even better, m8 and m1000 azz kickers, but stock gearing........old women love them, like a high geared Cadillac.

I've enjoyed my 2006 M7 for years. It's since has gotten a M-10 156 skid and a 156x3 but I haven't had it out since I lost a crank in her.
I have the parts on the shelf, just need to come up with some time to finish a few projects before I get to this old girl.
A few Cutler goodies, some CR Racing stuff.....SLP, Boss, 2Cool, you know the story.

And my buddy has a pretty sweet M8T that he'd built up over the years. The thing is a riot!
Snopro steering really sets this thing apart. I wish it would fit around my twin pipes, for now I just have to ride his every now and then!

Works good. I had a extensive talk with the guy who developed it last year and a camso rep this year. It is strange but you do need to break in the track. But no rubbing in the tunnel or front cooler.

One of my favorite sleds that I have built. Awesome runner and rode like a dream.
