I have been looking at skinz lower seat but that seems a little pricy. Is there any one else out there that make something similar that is a little more affordable?

WRP makes a low seat.

X2 for the WRP!!!

I ran it on one of my Pro's and I now have one on my Axys and I wouldn't go without it !!

It's cut lower and it's a tick longer but for transitioning from left to right and back again, you can definitely tell the difference with it being shorter. This is especially true when you find yourself getting tired, no more boot drag across the top of the seat.

I'm pretty sure I picked mine up for 299.00 off ebay.

I put wrp seat on my wife's axys. She loves it, and she's only 5'5" so it helped her a lot. They were on sale this spring I thought we bought hers for around 220 new

Cut the stock seat, 1'' off the top and an 1 1/2'' off the sides. I'm 5'6'' and its one of the best mods I've done. $65
Also cut 3/4'' off the ends of the handle bars and move all the controls as close to the cross bar as possible.

Just buy the WRP low seat. I got one from WRP this spring for that $200ish price and its really nice. MUCH more comfortable than the skinz one, and half the price. Quality seems much better aswell. It also makes the axys "cockpit" feel more like the G4, the tapered seat edges make the tank and seat feel much narrower than with the stock seat. I would guess it is about 5" longer than the stocker, but I see no problems with that.

Looks like $263 directly from WRP now. Sale price was $211 last spring.

Stay with the stock seat, I cut 1'' off the top and 1 1/2 off the sides, had a shop re staple on the seat cover. $50 visually almost no different than stock, best mod ever when your 5'7'' in high heels
