How far do you have to tear down to replace a tie rod?

Just pull the boot back and you should be able to get to it.

How hard are those little plastic rivit looking things to remove and are they reuseable?
I literally just walked out to the garage and did this just to take pics for u.

U don't have to take them apart like this. U don't even need to remove them from the rubber. Just pull the pin out most of the way.

Don't worry about the bottom under the skidplate. Leave it alone and just pull the rivets u can see.

Very easy. You can use a little screw driver to pry those loose, then some pliers to pull all the way.
