Don't think so... Brand New Engine designed from blank sheet.. New designed crank to handle boosted applications and Rods.

I agree.... Yamaha builds a great product and has many loyal customers however I hope they release a 2 stroke mountain sled to be a contender in today's real mountain world of what the consumer wants.
Just maybe they have something up their sleeve!
This is my opinion ...
It wouldn't make a lot of sense to build a 4 cylinder motor with 3 throttle bodies, although that would be thinking outside of the box.
Makes sense then.
Its that happy day of the year when I get to build up the FULL REVEAL THREAD.

I have one 4 sale with wider rear tire and exhaust system done to it only 800 miles on it 2014
Had 5 Yammis this last summer in my garage.
NEVER owned a 2 stroke in my life.
Been a hard core PURE Yamaha 4-stroke guy.
If money allows, and thats a HUGE IF right now, I hope to ad another Yamaha to my stable.

unlike allot of people i dont expect anything ,but would love to see them build a 160hp ,460-480lb dry 162 sled to compete with the others thats all lol.
