I just pulled my fuel tank for my tunnel extension project. What I found was that they had put the servo and reverse wiring harness under the fuel tank.
No bare spots yet, but some very flat wires.

Nope ive got electric reverse Maybe that is the cause of all of the servos going out, or are the power valve servos the things that used to go out all the time?

I am thinking that should be a recall item but i can't find a recall for it, i would maybe try wrapping some more heat shrink around it or maybe pulling the stuff up over the part that is wearing. Maybe report it to the safety commision they had to recall my old poo due to almost the same issue.

I think that the wiring harness is suspose to go around the the fuel tank, not under.
