The Freeride stock shocks are a step up from the Summit, but not worth what you pay IMO. After getting high end aftermarket shocks and rails you have a sled as strong as the Freeride with better quality and less weight for just a little more cost.
In the past the Freeride has really been a RMSHA sled. The wide stance is great for flat tracking hill climbs like you see in Jackson.
