The Freeride stock shocks are a step up from the Summit, but not worth what you pay IMO. After getting high end aftermarket shocks and rails you have a sled as strong as the Freeride with better quality and less weight for just a little more cost.

In the past the Freeride has really been a RMSHA sled. The wide stance is great for flat tracking hill climbs like you see in Jackson.

Freeride is same as Summit now except for wicked shocks and rail brace , 25 pounds more is what piggy back suspension weights, 137 comes only in 38-40 stance and r-motion, 146 freeride is 38-40 stance and t motion, 154 freeride is 2.5 or 3 inch track and choose between 36-38 front end or 38-40 front end , 165 is only 36-38 front end and 2.5 or 3 inch track
