Has anyone ridden Halfway yet, if so how much snow?

I'll be watching this thread closely as I was just talking to my wife about halfway again this year. we went a couple years ago for a few days and I actually went with another buddy of mine for a few days and it was some of the most epic riding we ever done.
I call this picture snowmobiling above the clouds in Hell's Canyon (Halfway)

It sounds like there us around 24" in town as of tonight, which is good! I'm sure it is piling up on the hill!

not sure where ya got 24" from but theres only about 8-10" in the valley.....2ft up at roughly 5500ft

Cornucopia Lodge?

Any idea if the Cornucopia Lodge is offering their winter packages this year? Their winter page on the web site http://cornucopialodge.com/web/snowmobile.php doesn't appear to have been updated since Spring. I can't imagine the snow is melting too fast at this point... :smow:

Halfway snow Dec 30 2016

we just spent the last three days riding in halfway. There's about 30" in town and about 6' at the fish lake snow marker. The snow is great powder up high. Bad news is it doesn't really have a solid base yet, and stumps and logs are easily uncovered. Good news is more snow is in the forecast.
