Well I am ordering one tomorrow and will install.According to rmstator it could be about 3 weeks before I get it back so I am replacing this one.I will keep you posted and thanks for the info.

These 900`s are like a hot chick,look good,ride ok, and need a lot of maintenace,and last but not least suck a lot of monet out of your wallet.

This is my second stator. any of you have any ideas why this is happening I only have 1000 miles on this money pit I dont know what to think my code flashes 10 times pokey sas its the crank postion sensor and th new stator has about 250 miles on it

Did you check your flywheel to see if the inner sheath is separating? That's what happened to mine. When it separates, it starts to come out and will cut the stator wires. This is a common problem on the 900's.

Well just chiming in to update on the issue at hand,changed the stator,covered the chaffed wires to the voltage regulator and bam!I got fire,sled fired right up ran perfect for a short ride(35 miles)Will keep updated.Thanks for all your replies.Later crank
