Want some opinions, on the new 2017 summit X 154/165.

I love my 2013 snowchecked summit x skidoo, but its time for the upgrade,

My old one is black, with 154,

What i cant decide is,

Black/Yellow or white/orange.

Also cant decide track length,

My Gut keep saying black, and 165.

I loved my Rev XP 163 but i love my 154, i have tried the 174 and loved it but didn't like it more than the 154.

Let me know what you guys think.

Color and which track length??

Thanks

do you find yourself looking for more flotation? if yes get 165, if no. stay with 154.

Next isn't the black offset with green not yellow? or am I colour blind.... I took another look, maybe a neon yellow?

Ya that's why my guts saying 165, the 154 is so fun though in tighter spots, but very unforgiving. When i demoed the 174 it was crazy how it would just float. I felt like it was so forgiving.

So glad i didn't buy the 174 earlier this year with those rebates, the dealer kept telling me wait. id be kicking my self right now.

If the main use is in the mtns only and you weigh more than 150 I can't see not buying the 165. I'll prob go 154 because I'll ride at home more than where I'd rather be

If you do reentrys and whips n such I'd go 154. I can't imagine trying that on a 165. In the trees either one works. 154 you have to carry more momentum, obviously. I do wonder if the 154x3 would be a wheelie monster though. ?

Nice to have choices. My 14 is white and red. Trying to keep the white looking good is a pain. I am holding out hope that they will make the blue available, if not it is black and a wrap.

I love the color of the white and orange sled but that white will get dirty pretty easily and will be a biotch to keep clean. The black is pretty played out IMO, everyone rides a black sled these days.

With that said, pick one and wrap it.

I like the orange and white in the 165. It's a little tough to keep clean, but if you're anal about it like me, and clean it after every ride it's not that bad. Nothing a little wd40 won't take care of.

Depends on where you are and snow. This year here, 165 would have been ideal for the mix of conditions. There were days where I would have been miserable on my 154 T3, it was so deep. I was almost miserable on the 174 some days.
I like the black. I had a yeller 174 last year, they are impossible to keep clean. Not only clean, but unscuffed. I dragged an air hose over the tunnel and it scuffed it, wouldn't rub out. The grey would be horrible.
