Not enough snow here at the house yet. Supposed to get lots more this week. Seen some people already going up to Cooper & Salmon La Sac to ride last weekend. If it does snow this week, I'll be out this weekend!

In Minnesota we start to get snow in late February, and it lasts for a week or so......

Anything that falls before that is considered a "Early year"

:( Yeah, thats about it Jeff, in Minne-no-snowta. In a good year we could be riding early December.
In Crow Wing County we just went to press with 35,000 copies of the trail map.
Some reluctance on the part of some the map advertisers, in spite of the poor winters, the last 9-10 years. Maybe this winter will be a good-un. Temp today is 24-F with a strong Walleye Chop west wind, maybe 30-50 ft of ice from shore. Broke open over the weekend.

Seen a couple of flakes this season so far.
According to the map there is better riding in Texas then there is here in MN.
