SNOWEST FORUMS: New High Speed Servers ONLINE!

After months of waiting, our new High-Speed Internet servers went online Sunday Night at 9:00PM MDT.

So far as we can tell, everything is working smoothly and we have seen a significant increase in over all performance, just as expected.

As the week progresses we will begin activating the various items that were listed a few weeks ago.

Thanks for being so patient and allowing us to solve this issue properly!

From my desktop I can certainly feel the difference in page load times.

And in the background I have already begun to enable additional vBulletin features that are placing a substantial load on the servers.

The real test will come this week as we turn on more goodies for all the members.

Email of PM's notification

This feature is not working since the switch over, Thought I'd give you a FYI.

The e-mail server IS kicking out e-mails, we can see them going, so we are not sure whats happening yet.

I'm getting mixed speeds...sometimes its lightning fast other times it lags real bad.

The issues that I have noticed:
1. email notification
2. attached thumbnail pics are showing as links and not pics..

Keep up the great work, with a little bit of dialing in the site will be better than ever.

it has slowed down like heck in the last half hour, taking 5-20 seconds to load pages. was pretty fast this morning

email notifications started working with pm's though

Right now the servers are kicking out 37,000 PMs and 30,000 e-mails to all the members.

This will pass in just a couple minutes.

Maybe 2 minutes of mixed performance to go and then the load on the servers will crash from 500% back down to 10%
