Hey Guys

That time of year again (actually were a bit behind schedule) to start a new sled build, this year we are starting off with two. We have built an M8 Turbo, we have built a Dragon Turbo, and last year the controversial carbed Turbo XP build (which was our favorite thus far) so we decided we would go over to the dark side We are building two Yamaha Phazers. Some may be asking why (in fact probably a lot are asking why) Well, it is something we have wanted to get out of our system for a couple years now so we are going to! The first machine will be a N/A Phazer, with a bunch of custom mods, the second will be a supercharged Phazer with a couple tricks up it's sleeve! Our goal with these machines are to make the N/A sled something that can float well, and have that kind of torque that will allow you to be lazy on the throttle and still tractor out of the deep stuff (this one is being built for my wife) The goal with the S/C machine is to build an awesome boon docking machine, one with good low end grunt and something that is very nimble, built for playing in the tree's and creek beds, with the capability to still make a pull or two.

I know we could have started with a pro rmk, slapped a turbo on it and had an awesome machine, but the point of this is to try and get out side of the box and build a fun nimble machine, that will allow us to get creative with our fabrication skills.

Anyways if your interested follow along on our blog, we will be posting as we build! http://holomis.blogspot.ca/search/label/Phazer builds

Thanks and here's to a great season

Thanks for the input! We enjoy a challenge, the worse thing that can happen is we have a fun S/C Phazer and then we build another 2 stroke turbo :face-icon-small-coo Could be worse things LOL

Thanks again for the input

Hey Guys

With sled season upon us we have decided we will only be able to complete one of the Phazer builds for this year (this is due to our on going golf cart orders, who would have thought orders for custom golf carts would still be pouring in) Of course we have decided on building the supercharged Phazer! So with that being said the other Phazer is for sale. If anyone is interested shoot us a PM.

Hey guys we have made some more progress check it out! http://holomis.blogspot.ca/search/label/Phazer builds

Also with so much interest in our new blog we have decided to start what we call upload Tuesday, so every Tuesday there will be new content loaded onto the blog, some might be sled related, golf cart related or motorcycle related, sometimes it maybe some of everything, it just depends what we get done that week. We have done this so that everyone doesn't have to keep wondering if something has been loaded or not, now you know every Tuesday there will be some new content!

Also check out our new website www.simolocustoms.com sign up for our newsletter and have a look at our parts page, we will be adding new products as we find and test products that we think everyone should have!

Thanks for following our builds!

Any progress updates?

Hello

Thanks for your continued interest, we have made more progress, we are just restructuring our website and blogs to focus on our golf carts, so we will be doing all the posts for this build directly on this site from now on. So we will have something up shortly.

Thanks

Hey Guys

Some of you may know and some may not, with some new and exciting developments in our custom golf cart division we had to make some decisions and one of those decisions was to close down our snowmobile and motorcycle division. This allows us to focus where we need to be focused and that is with the golf carts. That has not changed our enthusiasm for the snowmobile industry, however it has made the snowmobile and motorcycle industry only a hobby for us now, no longer a business. So with that being said, our snowmobile and motorcycle builds will no longer be included on our new blog http://sccarts.wordpress.com/ the new blog is strictly golf carts now.

This doesn't mean we are not going to finish building our Phazer and posting about it, it just means we will be posting the entire build right here! So follow along as we pick up where the blog left off.
