How is that so? What is difference between M7 and M8 clutch?
The stationary sheave on the M8 clutch is beefed up and is a little thicker than the M7 one. I just got done putting one on my M7 as well.
Be careful here guys....we are finding some significant taper depth differences over the years and models of these sleds-if in doubt, measure the diameter at the beginning of the new clutch bore and compare to your old clutch. If you end up with the wrong combo, alignment can be so far that it can not be corrected.
