If the engine is more efficient at cooling itself, then the water temperatures would be higher given the same coolant volume, cooler size, snow conditions, and load.

I noticed my egt guage is spiked constantly, but the coolant temp is normal.
Anyone else notice That? When it's crawls into the top end of that guage, the sled gets really pingy. Next seen a rwmp light for egts though.

Put 20mi on the new motor yesterday. No issues. Since there is no reflash for a new break in mode to over oil, i just put 100:1 in the tank instead.

did you check the oil line going to the failed side to make sure there was no blockage?
