What do you guys think we will see tomorrow? Cat has a new skid coming that looks really promising. Polaris has something in the works for 2019. What I'd like from skidoo is a new generation rear skid without torsion springs and a better shock package.

I want a lighter PPS skid, but I don't think we will see it until 20.

I think we will see a new ski design in the next 1-2 years.

Gut feeling says there will be fundamental design changes to the Pdrive in the future. There is likely reason why few aftermarket companies have invested in primary spring options.

I think this will be the year of evolution. Flatland machines will see the changes this year with a new 4 stroke package.

Its going to be an 850 turbo

We all know that its gonna be an 850 turbo. Did anyone notice how several of the magazines had articles about their trip to the Rotax factory in Germany, and they didn't say much more than they rode some go carts, and saw some electric go-carts and airplane engines. Well what that tells me is they had something "Big" to show them which necessitated flying all the journalists over there. Also if you know anything about engines the existing 850 is way overbuilt, (planned for a turbo all along) plus they have an application for a tunnel/heat exchanger/intake cooler which is meaningless unless your using a turbo. I'll bet a million bucks its gonna be an 850 turbo!:juggle:

150 HP 4 stroke? How much power does my 850 have? If boost increases as altitude increases so the sled makes a consistent 150 it'll have more HP than an 850 at high altitude, but, does anyone know how the boost will be managed? How many people want a 4 stroke Skidoo mountain sled?

Also if you know anything about engines the existing 850 is way overbuilt

I have read of them breaking rods and ventilating the block without a turbo though.
