How's the snow on the north side? I've looked at the web cams but just wondering if anyone has been up and rode yet? I have a rebuilt motor that I would really like to break in before the snow gets really good.

Don’t quote me, but I think the FS has restrictions on riding big horns until after Thanksgiving.

I'm only looking to trail ride and break in a motor, No need for me to get off trail this early.

I believe the state regulations are November 15th and 1 foot of snow cover to be able to get off the trail. Not that anybody would want to with only a foot of snow. That is just asking for rock carnage.

I have not been up but I know some folks that have and there is enough for a break in ride. Going to be warm this week but I think you should be safe. As far as I know 14a is still open.

No new posts since 11/27. Figured I would throw it out there? Anyone been up and know what the conditions are out there. Am shooting for a quick trip out in a few weeks from Iowa. On the fence whether it would be worthwhile right now or not.

I was over the Buffalo side on Friday before this last little front came through and there was 2 foot at best on top. I am not sure how much snow dropped this weekend but I would say we need a couple more feet to cover the rocks and stumps.

Was up last Sunday for a short time. New snow, but very scary. Straight to the rocks! Be careful.

Its been snowing on and off for the last 3 days. We had to head down early yesterday because of total whiteout. Wind and heavy snow.
