Hi guys. Thanks to all of you who have reached out to us regarding producing the SnoScoot C&A Mini Ski Mount kit.
As most of you are aware Muffin Works, the original manufacturer of the Mounts have closed their business and no longer offer these mounts. We’ve had numerous inquiries about manufacturing a similar product. We’ve done just that.
We’ve tweaked the mounts in a few areas and tightened the machining tolerances to optimize the fit and reduce the ‘play’ in the setup. We’ve also beefed up the spindle ski pivot mount area. Again with this kit there is no cutting or modifying the C&A skis whatsoever.
This kit is a simple direct bolt on and is compatible with all model years for the SnoScoot SV-80. We can also modify the mounts for the SnoSport. Just let us know.
The saddle mounts and locating spacers are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. A shot peened surface treatment has been applied to resist surface abrasions and micro-fractures. The mounting hardware is high quality stainless steel to aid in corrosion resistance.
The kit includes (2) saddle mounts (left and right), (4) locating spacers, all of the required mounting hardware, and installation instructions. (Skis not included however they are easily found on Ebay)
