Blocking off footwells

Noticed on the new matryx that the footwells are basically blocked off, i wonder if this helps keep the block of ice from forming in the footwell that seems to always form? Would likely need to vent else where.

My axys has been blocked off for most of its life.

No extra vents needed.

Keeps the ice block nonexistent

Keeps snow off the belt.

Yep just 1/16” black plastic.

Keeps snow buildup from happening.

Cut out the very front crossbar in your running boards.

UHMW tape on the foot hoop.
