I don’t think that tape is going to stay on there. It will cook off the adhesive and fall off.

ya
I kinda expect it to come off as well.
Its only a SHORT TERM solution till I can get a FULL ROLL and properly wrap that sucker up nice and tight.
Just put the oem heat shield back on.

The burning glue is gonna stink.
Pretty sure the glue side is not meant to be applied to the heat source.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hmm
Pretty sure that was leftover from my supercharger install on my Nytro from a few years back
But what your saying makes sense...

I have 2017-2021 G4 850 SKI-DOO COOKER THING CANS (NON-TURBO) in stock ready to ship to US customers.

All Cooker Cans are designed and built to match the stock exhaust flow numbers, so they perform the same as the stock exhaust with no clutching changes or error codes + they are the best cooker available on the planet.

I cant find my DB meter but below is a photo of my XM at idle in my shop on a sled lift, Ya I know its not the 850 but the the 850 Cooker is a bit quieter than the the 800 is.

UPS Tracking says delivery tomorrow of my new Digital Sound Level Meter with Data Logger 30-130dB(A), Decibel Meter Sound Level Reader. & I will probably find my old one that I misplaced and looked & looked for (damn sometimers) but this is much better cause I can post a graph of what ever exhaust can I am sound checking. (y)

On a side note there are a few of cans that I don't even like in my enclosed trailer & if they happen to be - they are the last ones that get to start their sled :( The Cooker Thing Can equipped sleds have never been in this predicament.

7000 rpm seems to be where the tone/volume of the muffler strike a hard sudden change.

Not unpleasant, but strikingly different..

Is this can any louder than an HPS? I'm running an HPS on my XM and was thinking about getting one for my G4 but if this can isn't god awful loud I might have to throw down. Being able to cook food would be a huge plus too.

Christopher, are you taping the entire inside of your side panel? I picked up a used cooker for $200 and plan on installing it today, want to make sure I get everything taped up before I use it.

NO.
Didn't touch the side panel itself and it has shown there was NO need to do so.
NO heat issues at all so far!!!
