Khaos shock revalve

Anyone have thoughts on revalving the khaos shocks? I had my 16 walker monos done by carls an it was great! I dont have any time one the khaos shocks, is it worth it?

I think revalving any shock to your weight and riding style and what you are looking to do with them makes sense. You can always have it put back or changed if you don’t like the results

But you're probably better off riding them first, messing deliberately with the clickers and preload, before deciding you need a revalve/respring. At least that way you can ask for something specific. Too many guys spend good money on random suspension work that might not have even been needed in the first place.

It really depends on his weight if he is under 180 or over 225 I would say out of the box he will get a benefit. But trying it out first is a good point

Another thing to consider, if rider weight is over that 220, a rear track shock spring change, would be another thing to try. It's always nice to do little things or one thing at time if possible, to really see the benefit or drawback.

If I remember correctly the stock Polaris 210# spring (clicker shock) is around 90.00????

The Khaos comes with the 180# and I know several guys that were looking to change it to the 210# or have done it. There is a thread on here that has the part numbers listed.

Im 200 lbs. Ive heard the rmk spring tames it down a little and is a little stiffer? I know on my 16, i bought the sled and the shocks were back off within a month, they were not good, and a carls revalve with fox internals did wonders. Ill have to ride it some and see how it goes

What length track??? As far as spring wise, I would think that a 155 you could end up going either way but on a longer 163 or 165 you might be okay???

Its a 155, im going to ride it and see how it does, just came off a elevated alpha 154, it was a fun wheelie machine so i might enjoy something in between that and my pro.

The rear track shock low speed compression adjustment is your wheelie control. Should be fine N/A.

There is also a 190# spring.
Be careful with the 210# spring. It will get crazy stiff fast with preload adjustments.
Go slow, half turn at a time until you find your sweet spot. Start with 10.875” between shock spring keepers before suspension install.
