Out sport took a hard hit today. Rob Kincaid was killed in an avalanche in the sheep creek area. The sport lost a great ambassador. Prayers to the family. If you ever had the opportunity to meet him you remember it. Amazing guy. Will be missed by many more than he will ever know.

Teton Valley man killed in Palisades avalanche
Update: Bonneville County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the death of a male snowmobiler this evening, Friday April 3.
This one hurts. I was able to met him a few times at the snowshows and he was a genuinely cool dude even remember my son after a year of two of running in to him at shows. Prayers to his family and friends.

Apparently his beacon was not turned on...
My group and I have not been checking beacons before every ride... and I also forgot to turn it on this season for a couple rides, not saying that if he had his beacon on he would be here today,
But this is just a terrible reminder to be more diligent with beacons and safety!

Damn. That’s a tough read.
Yes, but plenty to learn from it, the hard way, he was a friend of mine, very tough to read, if you knew him you can guess who was with him and the pain they are feeling
