Thats interesting. I got one ride on my sled last spring with the old new map and with great results. The mechanic did tell me then that polaris was still working on getting the map better. Ill have to see if they will throw it in my sled.

Yes there is a round 2 update that is coming down the pike.

It is designed to address cold start, low-end throttle, and rapid acceleration bog issues.

You will be able to contact your dealer as soon as it is released.

From my Mar 21. 2019 post:
"After riding the 2020 at different locations in Colorado in different snow conditions and altitudes I can tell you the mapping felt different than even the 2019 reflash. I can’t compare it to my own 850 because I’ve made too many modifications to be apples to apples but we had other stock 2019’s to compare to. We didn’t experience any bogs or a hot start issues. Ran crisp and clean each day. Very snappy on the lower end as well. Yes there were crank bearing updates along with new check valve. Hopefully the EPA doesn’t mandate changes to this 2020 ECU mapping for the production sled."

With this said, we were told this would be the 2020 tune if EPA didnt find anything out of spec. No plugs fouled, ran crisp in the cold mornings to t-shirt weather in the afternoons. We rode these from @6000ft to 12000ft with no problems and were data logging the whole time. No telling if it picked up a few hp, but it felt different. (I dont believe you can feel a few hp). I ran it against a stock motor 19 one of the days but not apples to apples because we were trying some track and gearing swaps and didn't think about it other days.

All the changes on the new map, or 2020 stock map is on the axys 850 owners/ patroit 850 face book page . Joey strub from bikeman lists them all.

My 19 ran pretty good last season so I held off on the up date last season but took it in a couple weeks ago and had it done and my dealer said it was the second version of the update.

Does anyone have the official Polaris bulletin for this? I live in Norway, just picked up a brand new 19 850. I told them to reflash ECU, and they did, but now this is coming up. Would like to reflash it again to get the 2020 map.

That's kind of my dilemma. We didn't really have any issues with our 19's and they ran strong on the original map. I have always kind of left maps alone unless there was an issue to fix.

Anyone know if this is a worthwhile update for a sled that seems to be running well on the old map?

If your sled runs good, I would leave it alone. My organal map never had a bog or hard starting, but was very rich on the bottom end. Made the sled feel like a dog tell about 5500 rpm. So I had the mid season map installed, have about 6 rides on it, and now my sled bogs out of the hole some times. Major pain in the a$$. I have asked for the organal map back in the sled, but Polaris said no. So I hope this 2020 map works out to be nice and crisp like my axys 800 was.

Just had my 19 850 rmk reflashed this morning to the 2020 map. Havent had any seat time yet so I do not know the results. I did however have a severe low end bog issue, even after the first reflash last February.

Wondering if anyone who had issues prior to the 2020 map has had their issues resolved with the most recent reflash. I really hope this fixes mine. Any input would be great, thanks ?

Update to previous post. We recieved about 24" of snow the last 2 days so I got out for a ride after work today. The 2020 flash seems to have fixed my issues! Very happy about this!!
