We are going to do tests later this week/weekend here in Scandinavia/Sweden (sealvl). Got some weights, springs and a Helix sent from TRS earlier.
Will be fun to compare his kit to what we normaly are running over here!

All the testing will be done on a primary with zrp cover, titanium bolts and everything balanced.

Polaris paid trs not ride so he wouldn't warranty any motors this year.

That sucks for testing 850 Trs I hope you can ride next year. We really appreciate the info and testing you do. For me anymore I would rather just pay for an elevation clutch kit than try to do my own. I don't get to ride enough the way it is.

Had a little disc problems in January. Hope I can ride in another 6 weeks.??
Candles on the cake are taking their toll.

Which one Tony? I had replacement disc surgery on C6 Jan 2016 and it's been hell since 4 months afterwards. Gagged hard brushing my teeth and disc moved forward.

Are you seeing the old 2016 belt perform better than the new 2019 belt? This is what I am suspecting but haven't put in enough testing

I feel for you, it’s not fun.
It’s L3-S1. Docs said surgery isn’t very successful for active people. I’ve seen 4 surgeons to date.

The new 2019 belt. 3211216.

Justin did a test for me on his 800 AXYS sled with the 3211216 compared to the 47C4572. His sled needed 3grams more weight per arm to bring the r’s down to the 47C level. The new belt is hard to get a grip on. I’m wondering if this is part of the lackluster bottom end complaint?

I have been testing all year and have a clutch kit and belt preference. Getting consistent 47-48 MPH track speeds. I run a multi angle helix and an adjustable primary weight. I changed the primary and secondary spring as well. Feel free to PM if your interested. Kits are 499.95 CAD, plus GST. Belts are $149.95 CAD plus GST.

$500 for the Let’s Make a Deal mystery box seems like a lot. Especially when my old 12’ Pro pulled that much track speed with Tony’s clutching. Good Luck!!!

Well, 499 CAD is only like 360 US, so not much of a difference there. I guess should have been more specific. The results were achieved at 7000 feet in 24-26 inches of fresh snow on a good base. Climbing long pulls where ground speed was no more than 5-6 mph, and would hold 47-48 mph track speed. If ground speed increased so did track speed, but thats not how I calculate REAL track speed.
Lets see some video of a 2012 pro getting that track speed in deep snow.....
The 850 only gets 40-41 mph track speed stock.

Can you shed some light on this.... in a Full progressive helix your never are in the first and last angles. As soon as you move your out of the 42 angle and your never completely shifted out so you wont use the 32 angle. So, your suggesting that a 41-33 shift out with lighter weights is achieving better results?
Yes the Secondary spring is much lighter, (125-175) but the lighter weights and stock spring (120-320) wont allow more primary pull as you have gone backwards on effective primary shift out..
Em I missing something here?

If I ever get my sled back, thats what I'm going to investigate!

The bottom end suffers from the straight 42 helix and a belt thats too hard. The 2016 axys belt is still not the answer.

A muti-angle helix is required to get the snap back in the bottom end along with a softer durometer belt and softer secondary spring.
