Lost Lake?

You guys are lucky that you got in the ride that you did on Saturday. It has turned to rain here and that makes the icy trails even slicker. I spent Friday roping sleds up the south trail so wasn’t up to doing the same thing again on Saturday. There was only 1 truck on the parking lot on Sunday with just enough snow coming down to get excited about before the temps rose for a steady drizzle. So sleep good knowing that it is snowing hard at the inaccessible lake.

Damn Doug, sorry to hear about you sled buddy. On a good note, mine is running good, did one wide open run plug test and looked a little on the fat side. but no bog so i think i may leave it. EGTs stayed fine, i think I hit 1100 on a long pull. 700-900 in mid range.

The trail was bad yesterday, but I have seen it alot worse. Took us about 1.5hrs to make it up primrose. We found snow, I didnt think the snow was all that bad. Of course they could use more snow.

wow i did not know the us olimpic bobsled/luge team was setting up a course right here in our own back yard....sick can't wait to watch them in action this year....

I was the one in the gray mega cab and white enclosed in the parking lot. Then I ran into later and asked if you saw 3 of our group members. I was on a black polaris.

And how big did YOUR eyes get when that corner was coming up fast while sliding down on the luge run I think that was the biggest adrenelin rush of the day!!!

heart rate did rise a little bit...

best thing i could sayis....take a sec when u come down to stop at the top of those nasty hills and shut down your sled and listen for somebody coming up...could save some heartache and pain..

Nice meeting alot of you guys, and shwee! Had a blast other than the trail but thats to be expected. It was snowing alittle when we left this morning but nothing to get excited about. Hopefully it keeps coming down so we can get back up there.

Shwee, if you thought that was hilarious, you should have stuck around the rest of the night. It got rertardedly funny and then gross. Ok, nevermind, be glad you left lol.

Mag, that is the line i was talking about being pinched or clogged in older systems when we were up on the hill. It sucks that such a small vacuum line, or referrence line can make such a huge difference in how a boosted sled runs. Glad you found the problem as well.
