:rolleyes:Going to change the track on my 06 600 rmk(iq chassis). Was just wondering if you can do it without removing the chaincase? On my older Polaris's I removed the chaincase. This one has more clearance so I was wondering if you could get by not removing the case. :):)

you have to pull the chaincase cover, gears and chain to pull the drive shaft out, but you shouldnt have to pull the whole chaincase out, just the guts

It only takes a few min to pull the whole assembly out. Make sure you get the right tension set when you put it back together and there shouldn't be any problems.

chaincase

Thanks.....
Will probably pull the chaincase. Wouldn't hurt to check my upper and lower bearings anyway.
Going from a 2.4 to a 2.25 on the track..
