We used to use them at work but I hated it, it just bugged me give me a boom mic any day. It worked OK but each to his own though.

They worked well in Afghanistan, eliminated wind noise in the mic and picked up softer voices. Not sure if I would want to sled with one on, I guess I don't have that much to say when I'm riding.

We've used the FireFox when sledding...they are pretty decent. They pick up some of the sled noise but aren't too bad once you get used to them. I've used them when out hiking too. That is pretty nice when you're hiking.

I used the Firefox last year. The biggest problem I had was the ear piece falling out. It's one of those you get what you pay for. I'd like to try the one with the ear piece that fits in your ear better.
