support between clutches?

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried putting a support between the clutches on the outboard end? I was thinking a bearing on each end with a tie rod between them to keep them from flexing towards each other. I'm trying to solve the issue of stressing the crank on my RXP project.

I think that you have a good idea. However, after "playing" with crank savers on Arctic F7 and M7 models, I think that your biggest challenge will be getting the bearings to last. At the RPM's that the motor spins, the bearing will need to be lubricated with something that can withstand extreme temperature variations and high speed. Most bearings are rated for max RPM with oil as a lubricant, not grease.

So, if you can come up with a sealed system with a good oil as your lubricant, you might have a million dollar idea. Just my .02
