anyone have any idea what the snow conditions are like around virginia or side lake? going up in a couple weeks, hope there is still snow...

I was up there riding last weekend and had a blast! We stayed in Chisholm, rode to Cook one day and Grand rapids another, going North is better snow. Found alot of great play areas (powder). Power lines were also good! Have fun

i'm just a little concerned because it is 40 degrees in sw mn today. we are going up march 20-23.

Went to Ely Saturday, trails were hard but covered lots of rocks. Lake trails were good to fair.

Trails will be in really tough shape by then. Lakes shouldn't be too bad.

by Grand Marquie they were not all that bad ridiable if you want to ride. AFter this week if it stays warm it is going to get bad.

it is melting fast...it is still ridable but it is very hard...but supposed to get 6 inches tonight

Kind of a bummer. I was looking at some pics taken towards the end of Dec.
'07 & it was looking like it was going to be a bumper season for snow. I don't think we've gotten a total of 6" since then.

Its been lightly snowing here since noon today.. about 30* most of the day. trails are rough though. ive heard they are ok north of here....

it snowing like mad right now...i thought i was done around here ,,but i just fueled up and i am heading out to tear up the new fresh....last call i think for this year

i was wrong just got a dumping in the last 48 hours...anywhere from 10-20 inches...this has to be the last good snow.

weather service said north of virginia like the cook area got 34 inches
