clutch balancing

I broke my crank on me 06 M7 and I think that i should have the clutch balanced because when it come off it looks like it hit that weight piece on the back of the primary and beat it up pretty good. It also tore my secondary sieves up pretty bad. Has anyone had this kind of problem before? Can you have your clutches rebalanced ?

There are quite a few places you can probably have your clutches balanced. I know one guy who does it - Bill Loftin, Wilderness Sports, New Plymouth, Idaho, 208-278-9453 or http://www.wildernesssports.net

Not sure where you are, but he is meticulous about everything he does and I would highly recommend him.

Have your clutch balanced at an engine machine shop and not just static balanced. You motor will last a lot longer.

Most of the time these things come so poorly balanced from the factory the very first thing I do is have the clutches balanced.
