For those of you that re too busy to take a Full Avy course. Lori @ Zac's Tracs just informed me that there will be a Avy orientation at Red Deer Power Sports on Wednesday January 23rd from 7-9pm. $25.00. Pretty good so no more excuses get there and make your riding safer. I might go Just to meet some of the local riders... Cheers..:beer;:beer;

I just finished the Classroom section of the AST1 and all I can say is WOW!
I never learned so much in 8 hours as this. Zacs is top notch. Sledders teaching sledders.:face-icon-small-win
Highly reccomended !

Thanks for starting the thread SylvanLaker. I haven't had much chance to get to the internet lately.
Glad the you enjoyed the classroom session Marcuso...just wait...the field is way better.

The 2 hr avalanche seminar at Red Deer Power Sports is $25/family...bring the clan. Each family will receive an AVALUATORS (additional AVALUATORS may be purchased for $10) and we will learn how to use this new decision making tool.
