How much do the rails run for and can I use 8in wheels and a mtn tamer suspension with the rails???

the rails are 130 each a little extra for anodizing & he will cut them for whatever size wheel you want so you dont need a offset axle.i had him make me up those same rails just for the mtn tamer skid they have just the holes you need for that skid so you dont have to do any measuring just bolt it on & go all holes were exactly were they should be if you want ice scratcher he will make those for you too.it looks like he has sold a few pairs of these rails since i ordered mine guess it was a good idea, these things are so much better than stock super quality at the same price more meat than a stock rail to.

So what else do I need to get apart from the 162 rails for a setup like that Summitboy? I have the Mtn Tamer on its way and am going to put a 162 X 16 along with a set of Avids on my Nytro. What about the axle and track tension setup ? I guess I will also need 3 - 8" wheels

If you dont wanna waste coin on fancy billet wheels, get the Cat m-1000 8" wheels. I got them on my M-10 suspension and there super light, and strong. If you buy billet wheels, make sure they have rubber on the running surface or you will regret it. Cat wheels were 34.99 each w/ bearings and C-clips.

Ice Age can make the rails for either the Cat adjuster or the Yamaha adjuster. I went with Cat just because i don't like the Yamaha way of doing it. I just bought some of the items from a dealer. The Yamaha would be cheaper just because you have all the parts ready to go.

I went with billet wheels without the rubber and have had no issues so far. I know the older billet wheels didn't have the right radius and they iced up. I'll see how these Tricked Toys workout over time !

Holiday, the only reason i said that, is snow will freeze on the outter surface of the wheel and obiously it wont freeze perfectly, so you end up gettin a slight vibration. May not bother some, but i noticed it on my old wheels and didnt like it. Puttin rubber on the billet wheels for most manufacts is a PITA.

I have seen a couple tracks where the ice build up on the billet wheels have worn holes through the track......

Like Darko said you do get a vibration every once in a while but once you put 260HP to her she clears out, LOL !
