02 viper acting very strange?

I have an 02 viper and it does the weirdest thing if my thumb slips off the gas or if I let off real fast from a high rpm the motor will rev down and act like it has a rev limiter at about 3500 rpm. I'll let it sit there for maybe 20 30 seconds and it'll snap out of it and away i go. It runs excellent otherwise it's just once in a while i'll let off the gas just right and it will act up. Please help :beer;

Tors switch is what, the kill switch I take it. I know that on my old 650 indy it had that knob sticking out by the throttle and when it was cold it would act up, but i don't think my viper has a similar set up.
