It's been a few years since that's happened!

Our club & other nearby clubs are grooming the trails.

We rode on Sunday, Dec. 2 around Aberdeen. Pretty good snow for the first ride of the year and quite a few people out riding.

I was trying to get out this last weekend in SE SD and i busted some bolts off in my riser so to riding this weekend but when I get parts this week I will be out. We only have have 4-5 inches but I need to get some test and tune in so I dont have much choice.

Christmas

Hey Ill be in aberdeen over christmas, bringin the sled along to do some work in pops' garage, since this fuggin apartment I live in ain't got one for me to use, but hows the snow up there I rode a little when they got the storm at the beginning of december, and it seemed pretty good at that time, especially for the beginning of the year, has it melted though, and does anyone wanna meet up to ride?

Very little has melted.

But since the snow was "light" in texture, it has settled some.

Should be decent riding, especially ditches or trails.

I was out today.
It is decent riding.

If you "hunt" the snow, (find where the wind has left it deep)
it is excellent. But the plowed open fields aree rough.

It has been "flat" light for a week. If the sun would come out, a good day could be had.

Sat & Sun's warm temps messed things up.
Not worth going out until we get more snow.(unles you like riding the lakes)

Day County Trailblazers is having a poker run this saturday with registration at 10 at Perebooms Cafe.
Looks like many of us will run it in vehicles, but a good time will be had!
Anyone is welcome!!!!

The warm weather does suck.. The lakes are all ruff around here and you just spin down to ice. Ditches around aberdeen and mina still have good snow. Tobad i got a long track.
