fuel pump problem on turbo sled

this is a little pre mature but im taking my m7 out today on its maiden voyage w/ a new turbo kit installed. i see a problem already, it seems the new fuel pump takes so much of a draw, my stator doesnt want to feed enough current by pulling the teather. once running, seems more than adaquate.
just hoping that when i get home today someone will have some tips for me assuming i confirm there is a problem......
