is anyone running a 16" wide track on an m7? did u change anything to get it to fit? i measured it tonight and it doesnt look to me like it would fit in the tunnel??? o and its an '06 if that matters

16 inch will not fit an M sled it will how ever fit a king cat. Different tunnel

2 ways to do this. Cut the 16" track down to 15", or get a different tunnel specificly made. Tunnel is not wide enough, sorry dude.

The bulkhead is also too narrow, I believe...you would need to do A LOT of work to make it work. Basically, you need to start with nothing but a drivetrain and get a chassis to fit it. At that point, it's no longer an "M" Not worth it IMO.

Besides a different tunnel??? Cut the track down to 15.25" and make sure no rivets are protruding into the tunnel area...

Are you serious? Would you really buy a 16 in wide track and cut it down to a 15.25? You would be better off just getting a couple in. longer track.
I dont think much would be gained by a 1/4 inch more. and just because of the hassle and fact your track could start fraying apart if not done properly, its a better and cheaper idea to just streach it out a little longer.

Just so we're clear here....i was using sarcasm when i said cut a 16" down......
I know of a gate that in low snow conditions cuts down a track real quick.
