16" wide track on M7

is anyone running a 16" wide track on an m7? did u change anything to get it to fit? i measured it tonight and it doesnt look to me like it would fit in the tunnel??? o and its an '06 if that matters

The bulkhead is also too narrow, I believe...you would need to do A LOT of work to make it work. Basically, you need to start with nothing but a drivetrain and get a chassis to fit it. At that point, it's no longer an "M" Not worth it IMO.

I dont think much would be gained by a 1/4 inch more. and just because of the hassle and fact your track could start fraying apart if not done properly, its a better and cheaper idea to just streach it out a little longer.

There are plenty 15" tracks for dirt cheap. Dont waste your time cutting a 16" down.
