I've got a stock M7 141" and have been having trouble getting power to the ground. Have talked to a few guys about clutch kits and have heard that the Sled Junky Stage III kit would work pretty good. Anybody had any experience with that kit on this particular sled.

I went with a kit from SledJunky and was happy with it. Made the sled feel totally different (felt like it was more responsive IMO) and on my setup, i gained 6-7mph track speed with the A20 i had on my sled. I then put a 156" track on, and have been making corrections to get that dialed in again. I was pretty impresses especially as ive never payed attention to clutching in the past.

What does this kit consist of? Looks like weights, a primary and secondary spring, what helix?

He won't tell you any of the contents specifics. You tell what you have and where you ride, and he sends the parts... i can't blame him. I do beleive he uses the Team spring conversion cups though.

mrquick is right, team spring conversion, BD deflection adjuster, primary weights, rollers, helix, and springs. I too cant blame him for not wanting to give out his specs, as nice as it would be to know for sure, i can appreciate that. Its a nice simple way to get a good clutching setup, especially when a guys starting out and still trying to learn the ways.

Ran sledjunkys kit on my 05 m7. Way better than the stock setup. The kit consisted of primary spring, primary weights, secondary hard rollers, helix and team spring and adapter to run the team spring. Also included the billet belt deflection adjuster

I ran his kit on my wifes M7 and it made a lot of differance. Seemed more snapy on the bottom end and top end. It was a good Mod. Well worth the money.

By far the best money you can spend on an M7. My 7 has run spot on in all snow conditions for the last 3 years.

Just remember to be fairly patient guys. Tis the season. I ordered mine about this time last year, and it did take a little longer then i had hoped. Its the busy time for sled goodies, nevermind hollidays, and delayed freight, etc. Just a heads up

I ran his kit on my 2006 M7 Sno-Pro and loved it! The man knows his clutching! I now have a M1000 Sno-Pro and run his clutch set-up in that too. It simply works. His phone number is 1-801-554-7154

Call him... you'll probably be able to use a few of the same parts... He'll let you know what you need to buy to update for the 1000...
