Has anyone put hand guards on with a riser and not had to change there windshield to a low one? M1000

With a 1.75" riser, AC control mounts and hanguards, there's lots of room to the windshield.
i run a low shield but my friend has a 3inch riser with the stock windshield and no problems with his handgaurds

you shouldn't have any problems with them hitting the windshield.
It just depends on the angle forward you like to have your bars. With a riser, you should be able to run them pretty much straight up and down and be ok.
i have 4" one mine and it clears the windsheild
