M1000 clutch center to center spec?

2007 m1000 center to center is 11.50, I believe the 08 are the same

my service manual says 11.5 in
Keep an eye on your offset also. 1.655"
ya I have a alinment tool at 1.655" but it does not have the notches for the center to center. Sombody on hear mentioned to make sure those clutches were shifting all the way be fore you really could start playing with the clutching, so I thought I'd mesure that as a start.
What else could prevent you from not shifting all the way out ?
