they are on ebay the guy said they measure 17 inches eye to eye but are the eye bigger or smaller will it fit does anyone know.
will 05 900 shocks fit on an 04 rmk

They'll fit, standard non-rebuildables are 16.5" c2c. Snowcheck option shocks that offered more travel are 18" c2c.

they will fit but you will not have as much travel and your 04 will sit lower

they are ryde fx rebuildable so your telling me they are really 18in eye2eye but they will still work

any one else have any information so the edge rebuildables are 18 in eye to eye or am i just not getting this

I ran non-rebuildable 05 900 shocks for two years, work fine with no troubles, destroyed one at the end of last year, now have snowcheck 05 rebuildables off of the 05 Anniversary 900 and they work fine. Just bolt them on and go.
