Avalanche Training Class in Helena, MT

The Helena Snowdrifters snowmobile club will be hosting a Avalanche training class to be held in Helena, MT on January 5th, 2008. This is the information I have so far...will update as I get more information.

Avalanche Training Class:

Free and open to the public.

This is for BOTH snowmobilers and skiers of all ages.

10am-noon: 1 hour avalanche awareness lecture; "Dozen More Turns" movie;
1-3pm: Rescue lecture (1 hour)/Beacons outside (even if there's no snow).

Bring a beacon if you have it.
