There are diferences year-to-year in the FLOAT-3 EVOL-R

It depends on which exact configuration you have.
Early config you could ONLY mount it with the EVOL chamber down (on the arm)
The later models with the knob on the same side as the chamber... you can only mount it with the chamber Up.. (on the bulkhead)
The early config, knob opposite to the EVOL chamber, caused clearance issue with the swaybar.

Is it possible to change the Float 3 Evols r's to RC2 by adding the second chamber? If you have the new style?
Yes, but it's not cost effective unless you can do the labor yourself.
