I just poured 12 yards had it colored at the plant a Tan color (picked off there color chart) ran an extra $7 a yard, and the color is mixed all the way through the mix so I do not have to worry about wear and tear, scratches or slick floors.

It's easier and better to have them add in mixer, they just plop and couple bags of die in the drum and she's done.

Integral color is your best bet if it's a color you want. As said, scratches are the same color, and it requires zero extra work.

Some of your more exotic colors have a drum charge (greens, reds) because they have to spend time cleaning the drum before the next batch. Blk's and tans, usually not so.

Color acts as an accelerant, so keep this in mind when detailing the final mix.

There are cast on colors (usually used for stamping) that have some advantages and dis's..

Because they are made with som much cementious material, the surface is usually much harder than your what your mix (whatever you are using) offers. Basically it's adding a layer of pure cement on top. It is harder to control, slows down the process, is more expensive (labor and material) and isn't integral (so when you do scratch it, you'll see it).

Piece of cake... :D
