If you have a 153 turbo viper I would really like to hear what you have done for suspension and/or if it is very ridable. I'm picking mine up in two weeks, just wanting to what others think of the 153. I've already had a 162 and know how they handle.

Thanks

Buy a 160 pound spring for the front shock in the skid, as both the XTX and MTX come with a 110 pound spring (unless 2016 changed). One of our Vipers is 162 3 inch paddle and our other is 153 2.6 powerclaw and there really isn't enough difference to make a big deal about, unless you compare bottomless powder and then it is likely the 3 inch paddle that really makes the difference.

Good skis is a must as 2014 and 2015 skis were twigs.

do you find the 153 more agile or fun ? I already have a summit xm with a 163, an RX1 turbo 162 and m 1000 162. The xm handles great with 162 flex edge t motion but its light. I want to try a viper with boost it turbo and a 153, possibly T motion it somehow. I think that would be more fun than a midlife crisis.

The 153 is way more fun to me, but the 162 breaks trail better. Unless it is a deep deep powder day the 153 would be my choice to ride....but the girlfriend won't let me take her 153 and make her ride my 162 anymore....lol.

I dont know if its the combination of flex edge and t motion or what but we compared a 12 summit x vs 13 with t motion and the difference is night and day for side hilling. I love it.

Pro motion in the rear was one of the best additions. Amazed at how that changed the package. Makes the 174 turn in like a 153......seriously.
Cheers
