Just have my clutches apart for inspect/clean/helix change, and was curious about the slop in the bushing of the movable shive to the stationary. I mic'd it and it seems to be right around .010-011 (i think i got the decimal right). it does seem a bit loose, but i am unfamiliar with this. Whats average?

On the old style cat clutch 0.02 is max.

yes the DD are sloppy... my '08 with 0.4 miles feels sloppy when i took it apart.

Is this measurement a reference to axial or radial sheave runout or bushing to shaft clearance?

Ohh...those are quite the words VOHK...lol. Thats just a quick reading i took on the larger "hub" i will call it, and the inner bushing surface of the shive itself...If you can make sense of my crappy terminology.
