Is there any difference between the drive shaft on a reverse sled and a non-reverse sled?

I can't find any difference from parts microfiche. I have an LE which I am trying to remove the reverse from. I have everything on there but the lower gear I have will not go on the shaft. Do I have the wrong gear? Or do I need a different drive shaft?

Thanks

They are supposed to be the same.

Yeah, that is what I thought.

Maybe I have the wrong gear?

I found this on another forum... maybe I have a new gear and I need an old (actually middle) gear?
Just so ya Know Some of the 15 Splines are Different.
Cat now uses a Polaris Spline so a Polaris gear will fit and is a Better gear! Not (Powder Metal).
I would think the F7s AND F5s are the same shafts as the 03 440 SnoPro.
If so, We use Polaris Pro X Gears on our sleds!
Black Magic is ok ?,, Speedwerx has the right gears in stock now.
I orderd a 44 from B/M And got the wrong spline, Yes it was the 15 spline But they will not fit the NEW 03 Shafts.
Sharp Cut.
